Anyone else see Hamilton's hand shaking when he took a knee after qualifying? Silverstone is one heck of track.

I think Kimi had that happen a time or two when he was at McLaren; fast but fragile car.

Anyone see Alonso's hand/knuckles taped up..? I haven't heard an explanation, but I would suspect he punched a wall after either hearing yet again "next year will be better" or after Magnussen nearly hit him twice in practice.

Hmmmm, I wonder if the bumpiness that HAM describes and the fragility of the cars is to blame for the suspension failure.
I am always amazed that these guys can physically handle cornering at 5G. Crazy.

The new floor on the Ferraris sure look like they’ve found something as I didn’t expect them to be as close to the Mercs as they were. Christian Horner’s comments about the heat at Silverstone and what it may mean to tire degradation tomorrow gives me hope the Mercs may not be on the top steps tomorrow

Agreed! While I had to see SC's it did make things more interesting at the end.

Awesome race - first one in a long time where I wasn't doing something else while listening to the broadcast.

While I think Hammy had the come-back drive of the race what a douche-canoe to skip out on the interview when pulling into parc ferme. On the podium he described the spin as a Ferrari "tactic". Really?

Hammy is the driver people just love to hate and he earns it.

Yup, HAM can be such a brat. He's so talented he doesn't need to act like that.
What kind of tactic would involve the team leading in driver and constructor standings hitting another car? I'm a bit confused by this.

It isn't unknown (Renault/Falvio Briatore) in F1 for something like that to happen. But can you really see Kimi giving enough of a $hit to really do that to help his teammate?

My guess is that HAM (well, his PR people) will back down from his comment and say he didn’t mean it and it was a heat of the moment frustration.

Hopefully he reflects on the fact that if he could have had a decent launch that he would have been clear of this risk.

All the drama made for an exciting race.
I prefer the safety cars to the virtual safety cars.

LMAO. Quote of the season!

Great race. I love Ham I do. I have his swag. He’s the best F1 driver out there. But he’s also a punk *** arrogant loud mouth who’s gong to get slammed someday. Leaving the post grid interview was pure obnoxious self loathing. He needs to grow up
