Montreal Qualifying - Thanks Disney
I'd love to be watching F1 qualifying in Montreal right now, but ESPN has decided to broadcast it on ESPN News. Well, my package doesn't include ESPN news, so let's try their app. Nope, can't watch it on the app unless your tv package includes ESPN News. I'm sure if I signed up for that channel, they'd just move it to another channel, maybe the Ocho. At least when Fox puts something on FS2 they'll let you watch it on FoxSportsGo.

Subscribe to their F1tv service. You can flip through live (minor delay) in car cameras for every car. Overall broadcast is SKY tv.

I love SKY SPORTs coverage and Fvcking hate how ESPN switches the practice and qualifying time slots and channels. I DVR everything and over 50% of the time, it doesn't record what the guide says is supposed to be there.
Given that it's at a more reasonable time because it's in Canada, I decided to watch it live on the ESPN app... NOPE... would not show it live even though I put in my cable provided 10 times!!! Had to wait for the replay on the app to watch qualifying - Nothing changed, still the same cable provider.... ESPN SUCKS!!!!

Yes, please bring back the old guys. I HATE all the screaming by DiResta and company like its some kind of soccer game. I watch with the sound off. Even the photo coverage sucks.

I just started watching F1 mid-last year and am really getting into it. Except for the broadcast frustrations this year!
They did do a better job during race day today on ABC, on staying with pre-race and post-race coverage. After Indy 500, they short circuited both ends of coverage.
Overall, I think they are using an intern to schedule practice sessions, qualifying and race coverage... I take that back. That is an insult to interns.

ESPN has really shown how little they care about F1. It's really pathetic.
But do these live streaming options allow me to postpone watching like i do with a DVR?

Well, this page has been up since before the season began and they've stuck to this schedule all year: http://www.espn.com/f1/story/_/id/22...-schedule-2018
Are they giving it NFL treatment? No, but why would they. With commercial free races and replays available through watch ESPN, I don't have many complaints (other than race 1 which was a disaster but they fixed it).

They pre-empted the F1 race for the Puerto Rican day Parade in our area... Good stuff..
