+1 for R3 being by far the best vs anything else I've tried but may give these couple of other mentions a try.

Mothers R3 is what I use. Spray it on, wait 20 seconds, wipe it off. No rubbing at all. Like magic. Lots of other suggestions in this thread, but I love the R3 and that's what I'm gonna stick with.
$8.99 and free shipping with Prime. Just ordered another bottle.
Great thread.

For those who don't already know this and important when compare one product vs another, the time the rubber has been sitting on the paint or clear-bra is a big factor for how easy it is to remove it. The sooner you remove it, the easier it comes off. As others mentioned, also important is what previous protection (wax, plexus, etc.) was on the car before the event, as this affects how strongly the rubber will cling to the surface.

Huge R3 fan here, but also had a can of SD-20 on the shelf. I typically use SD-20 for cleaning dirty parts and never thought to use it on rubber marks until this thread.
Bottom line, they both work better than everything else I've tried. SD-20 works a bit faster than R3 and stays where you spray it. I'll be using it exclusively from now on.

I started using SD-20 years ago when I noticed a lot of the IMSA guys using it to clean up their cars. Works amazingly well and is cheap - we sell for $5.50 per can. I use it for everything...grease/oil in the engine compartment (hey, I drive an old air cooled car - of COURSE there's gonna be oil/grease/grime in the engine compartment!)...cleans tire rubber same as R3, etc. Spray on engine areas, let sit a minute, hose off...no scrubbing. Lightly wipe tire rubber. Great stuff.
If so, I'll order a few cans from you.
Cheers

Not sure if that helps...?

In my experience yes it is...if you don't leave it on for a long time. Spray on, give it a few seconds, wipe off. I actually do have clear bra on our race car - all fiberglass/CF bits and one of our local tracks is horrible with sand. Sprayed it on and let sit for some time while I washed the other parts of the car. Came back and it hazed the clear just a bit in a few spots...but that was like 5-10 minutes. No issues when you spray on to clean off rubber then wash the car.

We use Motul and SD-20. Motul smells better, but SD-20 does slightly better job.
Bob S.- how does Molecule compare to Motul and SD-20? What about on vinyl?
