This was a great event for those who came. It was hot as hell the first day but much cooler and nicer the second day. Rain held off both days so we had nice weather and tons of track time. I set a personal best of 2:05.5 so I was pretty happy.

Dinner for CVR members at the Harbor Hotel was excellent and this year we had the "everyone gets a prize" raffle! Good food, good beer and wine, and plenty of laughs. When CVR returns to the Glen in the fall I believe we are going to try to do another dinner at the Harbor.

We also didn't razz our Corvette driver too much for his lack of gold chains! He was a welcome mix to the bunch and hope we see him at out fall event as well.

CVR's next event will be at Palmer Motorsports on July 13 and 14 - registration is open now. More info to follow!

For October I'll work to cultivate this look so as to get inline with the stereotypical corvette driver, although I will then look quite out of place in my daily driver.

LV, what are your dates in the fall? I may be able to join you if you'll have me.
I did a CVR DE at The Glen a couple years ago and I believe we met in the paddock.
What are your fall dates?

CVR is back at the Glen October 8th and 9th for two Advanced DE days.

Yes, same as this past event:

Porsche, Corvette, Camaro, Mustang, Ferrari, Lotus, Lamborghini and all German makes. No SUV’s.
