This happened over a year ago and it still haunts me today...

tough place to be. Cold tires.
Only thing you could do is get into the apex on the gators and shoot by them..... (checking your mirrors at the same time of course which is difficult).

No damage was the most important thing however.

 

Good point. The car that overtook me did that to his left, and he won the race!

 

Some people would argue this was my scariest moment at the track:

 

Some context for my scary moment - it was within the first few laps of my first stint of my first chumpcar Canada race, and the first time I'd been on track with our E30 at Mosport (had plenty of DE events there in my 911). At the time, I didn't put 2 and 2 together that I had hit fluid dropped by the civic you see pulled off to the right before T2 (the puff of smoke in T1 as I'm on the front straight should have been a clue). As a result I was pretty shaken up and it played quite the mental game on me for the rest of my session.


So it wasn't until Sat evening when I reviewed the footage that I realized what had happened. The next morning I went out with newfound confidence and shaved 6s off my lap times. Here's the same sequence of corners once I was more "myself".

 

 

Eyes up looking as far down the track as you can at all times - that's the rule.
Had you been doing that you'd have seen him spin.

 

or if he removed the A pillar he may have seen it...camera had a much better view

 

 

Please trim the video. I want at least 19:30 minutes back. Did you not see him at 19:45 lose it?
