It's actually all very well explained on the Club Racing website. Hope you can make it.

Actually, I dabble in the DOT world as well with my other cars but I doubt Mo would want to battle it out with Seb in his GTB1 car on DOT tires. But it's important to realize that Woodman is gone. Been trying to call and order tires on their website with no luck.

I hear ya. With all the changes over there, seems like something had to give.

FWIW I called Hoosier Tire East (860) 646-9646 - ask for Brian - good guy - they are not allowing us to reserve multiple sets and only buy what we need, which was kinda too good to be true, but they will bring extras of common sizes - so I think for us letter class Cayman types we should be good.

Nice guy, straightforward, easy to work with.

That said, man....I miss Audrey. Still bummed about Woodman..

Frank. Can’t seem to find the info on PCA website. Does this mean we can run Michelins in GTC6/7?

Nizer, GTC3-7 are spec to Pirelli and are not eligible for the Michelin program. It's on the PCA Club Racing site under Sponsor Contingencies, http://pcaclubracing.org/contingency/

That was my understanding. Just wanted to clarify. Bummer. Would much prefer to run Michelin.

I'm also signed up for the enduros, but I'll need to employ someone to hold the fire bottle for me, as I'm all alone. Happy to pay for the service!
Happy to help you. Shoot me a PM.

We had 131 racers last year which included a dozen or so Clubsports and so far we have only about 80 without the Clubsport group so about 20 fewer cars for each of the two run groups.

You’ll have fun - it’s a great track. GTB is usually intermixed with the Cup cars so you’ll need to deal with the challenges of getting past the slower Cups on a track with long straights. See you there!

It's only us silly guys who need to make sure we get our car numbers that have to sign up right away anyway

sounds like Road America! Half a race stuck behind slow GTC3/4 cars! Looking forward to catching up with you up there!
