By the way, i looked at the schedule and i dont understand how they will conduct the race group's practice qual and race. it looks like there are a few practices a warm up, a race 1, and and warm up and Race 2. I'm wondering if they use practice times as grid for the Race1 and Race 1 is qualifying for the main even, which is race 2.

The schedule states "**Practice 3 on Friday grids for Practice Starts & Sprint Race 1" . I believe the rest of the races are grided bases on fastest times in the race. Hope to see you there

Raced last year, great event. Saving my budget this year for an incoming GT3.2 in a few weeks.
I will be there Saturday for the festivities and visit friends, then Sunday Luftgekuhlt!

See you there.... Ill be hanging out with the other 928 and Joe in a GT3 cup.
I forgot about "practice starts" that is actually a session for racers? that seams kind of funny. i think i remember them doing this in a PCA race a long time ago . do they always do this?

They do it when there are race license candidates that require this exercise. In the past if no candidates are present, that session could be a "fun race" instead.

James , I looked around for you at the track. i didn't see your booth. Did you make it? a lot of people and booths on Saturday, with a full porsche corral happening in the adjacent parking lot . Sunday was kind of dead. II just raced.. Had a coil wire fall off at the half way point so that ended my race early , then, just packed up and went home!
