Default Anyone have a contact at Conti?

Just trying to run to ground a simple question - will they be manufacturing the Extreme Contact Sport in 295/35/18?

It's listed as a stocked size, but nobody I've spoken to has a clue whether it will actually be available (and when).

Heading into April, and for what is a relatively new design tire, not super thrilled with this lack of transparency for what's a very reasonable question... I would be grateful for an assist.

Cheers

Matt

Matt, it's shown on back order at TireRack so it must be out there somewhere......

Ok. They are closed until Monday. I'll check it out first thing.

Coincidentally I just mounted a set of these on Allegeritas in standard 18" Cayman sizes.

Up to this point I've only run on OEM ContiSportContact 3 on track.

Looking forward to trying these out.

Appreciate it.

Looking to run these as rain/backups (and getting a set mounted for May would be nice).

Cheers

Hi Matt,

I spoke with Conti. Unfortunately they do not have any in their distribution centers on the U.S.

Sometimes manufacturers keep an emergency reserve of stock for cases where a customer needs to match a tire. Struck out there as well.

Finally, these tires are manufactured in the Czech republic and according to Conti, they don't have any inbound nor could they tell me when production would be scheduled.

It seems your only shot is to find a dealer who already has them on the shelf.

Sorry I couldn't be more help...
