Woodman Sold his Transporter to Gordon so the transporter will probably still have Bob Woodman on it but it could have Autometrics on it. See you out there.

Looks like your car is in good company - I see a certain other Herman-Miller 924 just above yours

Good luck at RR!

Well we made it to Laguna Seca and had fun. Here are some pics of the car on track. I had no idea the mechanic driver, Andrew Eagan, could drive as well as he did. It was inspirational to see a 2.0 Liter car pass 924GTRs and some 911s with twice the horsepower. The #16 car is the only other 933 in Rennsport. #36 car is a 924 GTR driven by Tom Ross of New Jersey. Both his car and mine were out of the Herman Miller stable.. Tomorrow I will upload the in car video of qualifying.

Glad you had some fun. I stopped by and visited with the driver (nice young man) and reviewed the car for a bit. Very cool to see a few of those water pumpers out there. Great event. Wish I could have met you Clark, but in any case, thanks for your support of our community of enthusiasts.

My old car would've belonged right in there! Let's fix it up for next year, I'll drive it!

Mahler, Sorry I missed you....we would have had something besides Porsches to talk about. I lived in Fremont in 66.67 and 68. My first time to Laguna was October 67 where I got to see Bruce Mclaren win the Monterey Grand Prix in Can Am.
Hoping the next Rennsport is back at Laguna Seca.

Frank your old car would never be admitted into the Rennsport HIstorics. To be admitted the car has to have a verified race history that Porsche deems important.

I accomplished what I set out to achieve (return the car to original) and have it run at Rennsport Reunion. Tom Brennan told me he thought it looked better than new when he raced it. Here are some additional pics from the paddock. Our next stop is Ameila Island in March. Tom Brennan will be with us again. If you are there stop by and say hi.

Tom Brennan original driver and builder, Clark Hamerly owner since 1994

Clark Hamerly, Tom Brennan, John Osteen, Leah Brennan. John is a fabled Porsche Privateer from Florida and the second owner of my car (#54).

Clark with Giro Disc crew. Martin Mead left and Mike Owen right.

Brian Oleshak from Racetech with Clark.

Tom Brennan, Clark Hamerly, Driver/Mechanic Andrew Eagan, Linda Powell

Clark with KC Kowalyk owner of Sewickley Car Store in Pittsburgh. KCs stepfather, the late Bob Nichol, raced a 933 against Tom Brennan.

Thanks Steve. They made me change my car number from 54 (as it is on the race poster) to 154. I did not argue. But after we got there I realized there were no other 54s in our run group. However one of the other groups had 3 -54s.
I got to see alot of people while there. Sorry I missed you. I know Linda saw you.
