That is awesome news. I have never seen a deer out on track (luckily) but I did come extremely close to hitting a deer a few years back only a couple hundred yards from the main entrance!

Chris White is nothing short of the MAN! Ever since he's taken on the track management there have been loads of improvements. New owner with enthusiasm and cash is good for all of us.

Check out the Jack Baldwin podcast interview on Dinner With Racers. He talks about going airborne during a Trans Am race at Summit Point and flying out of the track in a rainstorm, so far that no one knew where he went. There were no skid marks and the car went through the tops of trees. He landed on a country road and walked back onto the property about 15 minutes later with a concussion.

I've taken the escape at turn 3 and had to park in a couple of places but I've never had to take that route.
+ 1 on Chris and the new owners. Things are definitely going in the right direction, I hope that track is around for a long time to come.
