Are you describing work that they did this off season or in past years? I have not been there since the fall.

As long as the curbing doesn't use up any of the old track width in T4 it's prolly a good thing. That's a "foot to the floor hang on for dear life" corner for me and I want no part of getting unsettled as you have about .2 seconds before you need to balance the car, trounce on the brakes, and shift to jump into the carousel entrance. Love that part of the track..

reverse is true for me only one race at LRP but summit is home. agree though T6 at LRP is very similar to T10 at Summit, both have windy throttle steering sections, both have ramp-ish uphill corners, both have some elevation change (tho nothing like the downhill at lrp that thing is fun). summit is longer lap faster bits...both really fun

It is amazing to me how much Summit has changed since I trained there in the mid 80's

We did the Potomac Porschefest DE in August last year, then I did the PCA race in September....really like the track. Gearing in our car is horrible for this track (or any for that matter) but had a lot of fun. Looking forward to seeing when we can run it this year.
1:12?? Yikes!! Best I could muster was a 1:20...

I'll get in on that and since I won free entry for this years race, the beers are on me. Come find me at the Provost camp.
