Used to stay at Iron Masters/Blackberry River Inn (Norfolk)/Wake Robin/Sharon Motor Lodge/Interlaken/White Hart twenty-five to thirty years ago when running at LRP.

Saw all these places go down, and only a few come back up. Have stayed at Interlaken and Sharon Country Inn the last few times up for PCA, LRDC and the Historic Festival (a weeklong affair) and really like the SCI.

When Pastorale and my dear friend Robert Willis’ incredible Italian restaurant, Giulia, were open in Lakeville, I could see a stretch staying at Iron Masters, but both have closed and the Iron Master is stuck in the Sixties! <grin>

Looking forward to your TripAdvisor review!

Give the White Hart Inn a ring. They are in Salisbury, CT about 20 mins from the track. 860.435.0030,

Take a look at the Litchfield Inn, it's about 20-25 minutes south of the track and there are several good restaurants in Litchfield center. May be a bit pricey, most likely nicer than some of the others mentioned.

Us Metro guys stay in Great Barrington (AKA Alices Restaurant) and we're all coming from the south.

In my opinion Interlaken is the best value for how close it is to the track. You can get cheaper but you are a little further. Since I live relatively close to LRP I only stay at the hotel during the PCA race weekend with the family.

Thanks all. Even though I am currently booked at Iron "Mattress", I am checking out the other options mentioned here.
Thanks to all for the advice to this LRP newbie...

I originally booked at the days inn in great barrington, but since I'm now sharing with a buddy, we upgraded to the interloken. Its much closer, but also twice the price. If you don't mind the drive, the great barrington options seem to be the most affordable.

Will see you out there.

Most importantly, enjoy Lime Rock. It is an awesome track to drive.

As you learn it the seconds come off in chunks, and then you fight for the last second, and lastly you start chipping away at tenths and hundreths of a second.

Depends which direction you are coming from. I come from the SW and have stayed in Torrington and Waterbury. Both have decent chain hotels, restaurants and pubs.
After a track day it's nice to visit the Boathouse in Lakeville. Similar feel and charm of Seneca Lodge during a race weekend.
When they add rooms I'll stay there...and likely be late the next day.
