Mom had double knee replacments and now has two of these. If the connections to the shirt are the same, is there any reason I could not repurpose one of these in my car, just like the units everyone else uses?

I've used various donjoy coolers as coolshirt coolers. They are the same connector as FAST.

The older coolers used a wall wart to convert 120VAC to 9VDC (IIRC). They run fine directly on 12V.

Excellent. Thank you for the feedback. I'll double check the connectors and get to ordering a shirt. I'm surprised they still sell cotton!
