They need to edit the title of this award. Incident-free is no longer accurate with the new rub-out rule.
Should be called something like this:
"Racers without a 13/13 conviction in their last 9 races"

Rub Out Rule
Can you please explain the "new rub out rule?" I got slammed in the rear on the first lap at Daytona, tore up the rear bumper, and the offending rear-ender got no punishment (13/13) because the stewards declared it a "rub out."

If one desires a virtually car-on-car contact free track experience, I recommend DE.
Racing has more risk of car-on-car contact.
Close racing makes racing fun.

Wow, you got slammed in the rear and then rubbed one out? I'm not sure PCA is for me. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

At Pitt I came down on another car at turn in and was tagged in the rear bumper and spun. Even though there was damage to both cars, very minimal on mine, but it took some hammering and zip ties to fix the other car, it was called a rub out. My opinion is that both drivers were at fault as I got tagged in the rear bumper, but I should have known he was there and left room. So I am all good with the no call. I think in years past a 13 would have been assessed.

I remember that well. All of a sudden I had a choice of hitting you head on or going off-road down the chute. It was pretty bumpy but the better choice.

I have video of you and others coming straight on good miss by all. It was a bad race from the start as I had no power on corner exit because I could not shut off the traction control, The button fell through the dash on the warm up lap and I could not shut it off.

That award was the culmination of many years of being a tool.
Before the Biggest Tool Award, I was just the official Group 52 Eye Candy.
