does your car have the option to work with the TPA?
in the GT4 it requires the sports chrono option.... pretty sure the GT3 has the same requirement
I dont know if that option was available for the 2014 model year or whether that started in 2015/16
online references only start showing up in 2015 maybe it is not available on 2014....
harry's laptimer might be your next best option

you should be able to see a wifi similar to mine below in your phone once you have switched the car on:
the last 6 would be the same as the vin of your car; it has nothing to do with wifi.
if you dont see it you have the following options:

if you dont see it you have the following options:
- check the car electronics menu to see if the wifi is disabled (not sure if that is even possible)
- verify that your phone can see a Porsche wifi by cross checking it with another Porsche (eg dealer showroom or a buddy) if it works with your home wifi no reason why it should fail; I have an iPhone 6 and it works.
- have the dealer check your car has the sports chrono option and that it is coded on.... (I think there is a website that allows you to check what options a p-car has based on the vin)
