Bingo! I do similar. Works with my enclosed trailer too. My car has a long overhang in front, a splitter, and sits 2" off the ground. If I didn't do what Drew describes, I think I'd need at least another 10 feet of ramps.

I love my Texas Rollback... Unlike the standard hydraulic teeter toter, the rollback uses the tow vehicle to slide the entire bed off the wheels so very shallow approach angle.

Futura look amazing
And not using airbags is smart if you ask me. Ramps are the most annoying part of an open trailer. I loved my atc open and for the price at the time it was really hard to beat.

love my enclosed now but I would definately look at these

Our GTI loaded on a Futura right after it put 2 rods through the block. Amazing trailer, easy to load, tows great. If you are considering an open trailer, this is the only one to look at IMHO. We loaded a 991 GT3 on it no problem without the need for any ramps. Trailer functions controlled with a handheld remote.

Default Want a Futura? Buy mine....

I'll sell you mine. I rent a place on six (6) acres in the boonies, and there are mice to worry about. The landlord has the garage full of old furniture so no room in the garage, even if I had lots of mouse traps to place around the interior perimeter. As a result, I have been storing the car on the trailer in a storage unit, $300 a month. $3,600 a year.

So as much as I love the convenience of a 5 to 7 minute load and unload, with no need to craw on my back to attach the tie downs, and the fact that I don't need any ramps as long as I have the 2004 GT3 front splitter removed, easy off and on so no big deal, I think I am going to sell my 2018 Futura Tandem Trailer. It has about 4,000 mills on it and comes with:
  • Loading winch,
  • Spare tire,
  • Wind guard
  • After-market tire ramp.
I am asking $9,995 and can deliver in CA, maybe AZ, for the price of gas, one way...I get about 10 - 12 mpg on my Tundra, hills dependent. All maintenance has been done, what little there is.

PM me if interested.

Darnit! I just bought a futura tandem. I love it and would highly recommend it to anyone. I have a 2007 Gt3 with a hybrid suspension set up and have no problems with loading

I ran into someone with a GT4 (slightly lowered) that had one of these. He still had to use additional ramps to avoid scraping. Mostly due to the long overhang in front of the front tires.

I watched a guy at Laguna load his GT4 Clubsport on one and it was impressive. In his case he didn't need to use any ramps. Made me fall in love with that trailer.
