Default How close are my NT-01s to done?

10 event days (slower white pace). Many dual driver days (counting each as 2 days).
Center tread groove at 4/32. Right at 'wear bars'
Outer edges lateral grooves just scrubbed off. Inside a little lateral groove remains.

Likely around 30 heat cycles.

Thinking I will heat cycle out and/or cord outer edges before I wear through main surface.

30 heat cycles I would toss them regardless of wear. I would usually go to 20-25 on mine before tossing them.

How do you count heat cycles for DE days?
We have 5 run groups, 21min each, so 21min run and 110min between plus extra time at lunch. I count that as 4 heat cycles for the day.

When we dual drive, if back to back, same things, if spread out, might only be about 2 cycles for the day since there might only be 21-42min between runs and the tires don't cool down that much.

Sound about right?

So you can still see the little dimples on the inside and outside? When these get faint for me the end is near. I usually run them until they cord which happens about 25 to 30 sessions. this one is 26 sessions. Car is a 987.2 Cayman R.

I can definitely see the dimples - depth of 0.150".
I'm also at the same 30 sessions or so, but nowhere near the same wear as you.

I have a new set of NT-01s in the garage and the used ones on the car.
Will checking them against each other with a durometer indicate whether they have heat cycled out?
(i.e., should I buy a durometer)

These tires don't really cycle out. Run them until they cord, unless you have to drive them from/to the track in which case you better have some thread left for possible rain on your way home.

Don't ruin your weekend by cording your tires in the first session, having to go home. Put your new tires on.

Drive them until they cord. NT01 s get grippier as they wear. I had 30 heat cycles/sessions on these before I had to pull them.

Wow those are wearing really well. How much camber are you running? Mine always seem to wear out the shoulders first

From my most recent setup: -2.5 at the both rears.

Camber (Degrees)
-2.5 -2.9
-2.5 -2.5

Camber is maxed out at each corner currently. I've recently added adjustable LCAs on the rear but haven't dialed them in yet as I'll be adding the fronts next month. I will increase camber up front w/a new alignment then.
