RTR 60TH ANNIVERSARY DE AT POCONO RACEWAY - POST UP YOUR VIDEOS!
Pocono Raceway is not my favorite track. There, I said it. Okay, that being said, even on a crappy track, when you get a great group of drivers together, it makes even a crappy track....dare i say, FUN!! I have to confess, I had a blast over the whole weekend running with some really great drivers who happen to be really GREAT PEOPLE too!! And isn't that what this is all about anyway. Yeah, lowering your ET is great, but man, there is just something about hooking up with a great driver that makes DE's so much more fun.
This is some video of me being a juvenile delinquent in my 06 CAYMAN S running Michelin Pilot Super Sports while trying to chase down a silver GT3 (a guys gotta have goals - no?!) Needless to say, I got stupid and overcooked the right-hander on the north infield and put two wheels off, but it was on the last lap of the session and I think everyone was sleeping so...

Still more video - this time running my R7's to try and crush those pesky GT3's, so much fun!! Sorry for the long videos, but I'm way too lazy to edit them down.

Summit Point Club Race weekend of 09/22 (worker, not a racer) plus our last DE in Nov.
I'm currently going the Instructor route and should have my PCA National credentials in April when the national folks come out, instructing elsewhere locally now.
Regarding your video:
Great driving, you clearly know that track and pretty much owned that session. I do plan to get out there some time and would be up for a configuration that includes a banked corner - gotta try that
Was that session supposed to be open passing? I only saw a couple of corner point-bys. You can pass those guys so much quicker in the corners with your lower powered grip monster

Nice driving, I was actually at pocono raceway Saturday for Lanternfest (family duties). I could hear the cars driving and it just killed me knowing I was at the wrong parking lot. I think RTR went till 5:30 that day. Like the OP said, its not the best track but I would have much rather been there than the festival next door.

Len, it was great seeing you again this past weekend although we weren't driving in the same run group. Good to see you again as always. Love watchin your videos. Keep posting them.

I was there on Saturday competing in the AX on the East Course. Anyone have any videos they can post of the AX?
What the heck is "Lanternfest"? It sure drew a HUGE crowd. I know because I sat in the traffic from the event.

Here's an enjoyable clip from my wife's one-day experience in the green group. I must say she did better than everyone expected...

My wife did her first DE that weekend too, in Green with your wife. I gotta wonder if it's my wife that your wife passed. Ask your wife if the car she passed was a Yellow Cayman S.
My wife had a blast. Looks like yours did too. Awesome.
