Blues too? A 2 day option would be nice.

COTA prefers 3 days rentals and there is no price break for Friday, as a result there is only a 3 day option.

We are working on options for future events that would allow for a 2 1/2 day event that may facilitate some additional options.

Interesting note: The survey results following the June event showed that greater than 50% or participants preferred 3 day events.

Potentially bad news: it appears COTA is now rented to a manufacturer on the Thursday. Thus it is unlikely we can do a track walk

Yes, I heard that. Unfortunate for us, but good for COTA.

Lord knows we don't want it ending up like TWS. Yet another reason Harvey sucked:

Up to 248 now, we are nearing capacity.....

Estimates of between 500,000 to 1 million cars flooded in Houston! I don't know how they arrived at the number but that is a lot of cars, especially when you consider there are about 16 million new cars and light trucks sold in NA in a year. If Irma has even half that impact on Florida, then the auto industry should have a good year.

I just signed up, this is a bargain compared to some other events at COTA.
Any recommendations for hotels nearby?
I presume tech inspection by our local independent shop who happens to be our lead instructor in Phoenix will suffice?

What does a typical days schedule look like? How many sessions and how long? Is Sunday a shorter schedule?

The May Schnell Fest schedule was 4 sessions per day. Sat and Sun were the usual 23min duration. Friday was longer sessions due to not having a Green only group. I understand that is changing. Perhaps TexasRS can confirm.

Any reason to be concerned with the slow rate of confirmations? The roster also has wait list people on it now.
