A full track walk - AWESOME.

For those that haven't done a track walk, with someone that knows the track, I highly recommend it. There are a lot of elevation and camber nuances that you cannot see from inside the car.

Yep! Weather permitting, that is.

And perhaps a chalk talk. Also doing the advanced group classroom interspersed with private coaching.

We need to get the TejasTreffpunkt set up at COTA next year, P cars are meant to be driven, not just looked at.

ah no kidding! I told Rudy I'd bring a car to that, plus I wanted some of the charity items....

Its a classic porsche gathering in Houston, on a large social scale.

DURING the track walk? That sounds very exciting, but I think I'll pass on playing Frogger with F4 cars. ...and I'm sure you thought I was up for most anything. Well now you know....

I remember the inaugural COTA clubrace/advanced DE. 60 cars or so for the DE. If you were at the front of the line you got 1 more lap than those at the back of the line. But back then it was also ~25% cheaper. I hope things and laps have improved since the pricing has gone up.
GL to all fulfilling a bucket list track experience; its a great track.

P.S.
IIRC garage pricing was the same back then as it is now.

It definitely was a CF for DE'ers with delays and cancellations at the end.

Would love to go back and run it again. But for the overall cost of 1 COTA experience I can get 3+ other tracks. Like I said; its a bucket list item to experience.
