Word on the street is that the owner is making $2200 per acre per month.

No, that's the number of cars required per run group to make COTA affordable.

This does suck.

Last weekend we had the NOLA PCA Mardi Gras event, light showing.

I'd have thought with TWS closing and Eagles Canyon off the PCA schedule that NOLA would be the go-to for East Texas people.

Wasn't even a race thread here about it.

I guess the Tex and Fla storms played a part...?

Maybe interest is just waning in road racing, I don't know....hope not, we are just at a peak.

One of my first DEs was at TWS, my son was basically groomed to race there.

Well, I guess his SP2 944 record is safe....

Great Pics Mike. I am going to miss that old track. It was my favorite. MSR - Cresson 1.7 CW being 2nd.

So much history - that is sadly going to fade away.

I wonder how many of those cars were never licensed.

Track is still usable, how many seconds per lap would you lose knowing there is no safe off.

This would fall into the category of dumb luck, it's good if you have it.

I had seen the new chicane in a prior post, you have to keep it tidy coming out of 15 ;-)
