Guard LSD - rebuild/lifespan

Guard LSD - rebuild/lifespan
What's the typical life of a Guard LSD (hours or track days)? Not sure if I'm dealing with an alignment issue (rear toe) or a guard LSD that is starting to fail.
No waggle under hard braking but lots of steering feedback in mid to high speed corners (corner entry and mid corner). If I drive w/ the TC on, I get a TC light on almost all right handed turns mid corner (mid to high speed).
thx all

It just depends on HP/Torque and use. I bought a new Guard unit back in 2004 for my 2.5L 911 (901) transmission.. I have never rebuilt it because it still does not need it. We check it every so often. You can maybe check with a torque wrench for break away- but I think you have center locks, so I'm not that familiar with that setup. I would just give Matt a call or send him an email.

I have an original Guard GT unit in my 700 plus turbo car. I installed the GT diff in my car so many years ago I cannot remember when I upgraded. I've checked it a few times and it's still strong. Great part from a great guy.
