CGT VIN and Sequence Number?
Hi Guys,
I have been looking at purchasing a CGT and was wondering if anyone knows why a CGT VIN does not include the car's sequence number above the gear shifter?
I find it strange that these do not correlate.

Ok since no one else has chimed in, here's my GUESS. I'm guessing that neither Porsche, nor any other manufacturer, has any control of VIN numbers as they are applied for and supplied by some governmental agency. Therefore, the cgt numbering next to the gearshift can't be coordinated with the VIN.
Regardless, if you've found one you want to buy, do it!
