918 vs P1 vs LaF: the runway race

Yeah. 2nd and 3rd were closer than I expected.

Yes, but what is not clear is that the 918 won 0-30, 0-60, 0-100, 0-125, etc and finished 1st on every run to the marker point. Whilst the P1 and the Lafa started to reel the 918 in from about 145mph, the 918 was to far in front to be passed.

So from the video and the info Apolo1 provided, the 918 won 0-30, 0-60, 0-100, 0-125, 1/8 mile, 1/4 mile, 1/2 mile, to the marker (however long that was). The P1 only beat it on 0-150 & 0-186 and the LaFerrari only on 0-186. So the 918 won 8 of the ten things measured! Very impressive!

Those times don't mean anything.

If you are a firm believer of wikipedia, then I have a ocean beach resort in Dakota to sell you. Cheap too.

Well as far as I know this is the only timed event with Vboxes and the numbers above don't lie. While the numbers on Wiki were taken from the Manufacturer. Ferrari still has a ways to go to hit their "Claimed" time.
And if someone was to post the above results at Wiki you would get some A$$hole with 15K edits slapping your hand telling you that you are wrong... Ferrari says their car goes this fast yada yada yada.
As far as anybody can be concerned this is the only Hard Evidence concerning the performance on all three cars at the same place, altitude, relative humidity, road conditions.
The above results "SHOULD" be the only thing that is quoted on Wiki's fastest production cars page.
EDIT
Just went by Wikipedia to look up the fastest production road cars. They list rules such as there must be a minimum of 25 cars built for Public Consumption. Seems like the Wiki nerds who make the content to the website have changed the webpage since the last time I was there a few months ago.
Wiki now list the 918 as the fastest 0 to 60 car at 2.2 seconds, even beating out the Veyron at 2.5 seconds and the LaFerrari at 2.4 seconds.
The Laferrari was listed as the fastest on the quarter mile with a 1.4% decline in elevation which could easily help with a tenth of a second. Both the 918 and the P1 hit the quarter at 9.8 according to Road & Track and Motortrend magazine's respectively. Also the Ferrari was tested by Motortrend and as always we can all be certain that Ferrari sent out their Squadra of Men to ensure the car was running at it's Maximum. Otherwise they would not have agreed to such a test.
