Really great write-up, as everyone has said. Should be referenced even time someone lazily says that hypercars are only bought by collectors to be garage queens.
It does two things for me - firstly makes me even happier (and impatient) to know that my 918 has just passed through quality control in Stuttgart.., and secondly makes me really wish I'd taken the plunge on a CGT when prices were more sensible.
A question, if you don't mind - I have spent a lot of time on track, but it's been virtually all in dedicated race cars. I haven't tracked many road cars, and when I have, none can stand up to full pace driving for very long.
I haven't tracked anything like a 918 yet, but will definitely do so, as racing days are mostly over. I know that Spa was wet, and so easier on everything, but in your experience can you drive these kind of cars flat out for long, or does the road car limitations still apply?

I was there with Doom in my Speciale. Was a fantastic weekend and the first time i had been on track in a GT even though i own one.
Doom knows how to pedal and wow what an incredible experience it was with him going almost flat out around the track. The CGT truly is a scaled down version of god.
