If I was into antiques, I'd definitely have Singer on my list.

i didn't want to be hi-jacking https://rennlist.com/forums/997-gt2-...storation.html thread, so i am going to start a new one for my own singer project.
i have already paid SVD deposit and got an allocation for December of 2015 (yes, it looks like they are pretty booked up)... there is a small chance they could get started on my car earlier, but i am not holding my breath... it takes about 10 month to finish the car, so I am really looking at Q2 or Q3 of 2016 for delivery.
the donor car has already been sourced by Singer and they arranged for me to take ownership of it. i am now a lucky owner of a 1991 Carrera 2 with a 3.6L engine and tiptronic transmission. given that car has over 100K miles, it is good that Singer will be breathing new life into it.
while not a fan of vanity license plates, i couldn't resist here and got a "964 SNGR" plate for this project.
next up: trip to Burbank in May to select colors and finalize various options... stay tuned.

Getting this back to the original post quoted above, ironically for anonymous918, his thread was dominated by another Singer build, which he specifically stated that he didn't want to do to another thread and poster. Unfortunately, there were no additional posts after 12/28/15, and no additional photos of his Singer build, to our great loss.
If you're around and re-visit this thread a918, I'd love to see a picture or two of your finished automobile, and read of the details that went into your build.

Hey everybody, I been a happy singer owner for sometime now. My car is "Mountain View" and you have seen photos of it I am sure already. If not, here are the photos from Singer gallery:
http://singervehicledesign.com/portfolio/mountain-view/
the car is great and also one of their lightest cars: no radio, no bluetooth, no air conditioner, light bucket seats, etc.
I love driving the car and I love even more letting my friends drive it. It sure is a fun little hotrod for the street.
