Just to be totally accurate, the total worldwide production of the .2 997 gt3 RS 4.0 Limited Edition was 600. And, of course, not all were sent to the United States!
As expected. As I posted back in 12/14/2014 at the 991 gt3 RS master thread:
But think of 'Lava Orange' & 'Ultraviolet' as PTS and consider yourself lucky we have those two 'special color' options...

You are extremely bitter. Show me where it says we cant post opinions or heresay.... The forum would be shut down.... Only posts facts.... You are kidding me right.... Read this entire forum... Its all speculation opinion etc.. It makes it fun and consider the source... Its the internet
I said I heard... Never said guaranteed etc.. written in stone... Seriously
Lastly, I could care less whether there are 1000 made or 100 made or what the price is. I m buying one. Are you? Do you have an allocation. Maybe that's why you are bitter....

Regarding your allocation, you most likely don't have one yet unless you received a commission number. Did you receive one? If so, post it and show us all how you are the first since no one else has received one yet. Rumor has it, 918 owners will get their's tomorrow.
Regarding my allocation, my car is in the system awaiting a commission number, thanks for asking. If you'd like more info, I'd be happy to share over PM since I don't post that type of info.

As you read in what I posted before, PAG did a similar restricted color offering on the .1 991 gt3 RS back in MY2007 and 2008. And we only had a choice of 7 colors on the MY2011/2012 Boxster Spyder. So it's not that unusual for Porsche to limit colors on a niche model like the 'RS' and the 'Spyder'.

People post hearsay all the time and that's fine because most post it with good intentions but you just make up stuff. Just like your first post in this thread. You are getting an RS in a month but the flyer you post says July. You literally posted your own evidence to prove you wrong and then say you got it mixed up with you 918 when called out...Sure you did.

Dude get a life. I make up stuff. What bad intentions do I have. What are you talking about. I guess I made up the flyer etc. I guess I made up I am getting my 918 in april.
I made a mistake on my originally post. Yes. my 918 is coming beg of april.
No commission number yet for rs yet.
As I said before. Life is good. If yours isnt i am sorry and I mean that sincerely.

No, it is certainly not a limited production numbered car in the sense the .2 997 gt3 RS 4.0 was. We really don't yet know what are PAG's plan for production numbers of this version of the 991 gt3 RS or if all will be rushed into production before some due date re: emissions regulation (e.g. Euro Cycle 6). It's all speculation at this time. We also don't yet know if there will be a 'pause' when the MY2016 face lifted .2 991 appears shortly (this summer) as a MY2016 and if they'll bring back the .2 991 gt3 and .2 gt3 RS in MY2017 (as they did in the interim between .1 997 gt3/RS in MY2008 and .2 997 gt3/RS in MY2010).

So 120 -140. That's really low. If so they will surely be desirable.
I have a gt3 and its rated at 475 hp and I think 0-60 3.5 sec and it definitely feels a lot more than 475 and quicker than 3.5. That's just my opinion and I know there have been tests that I think support that by the car and driver etc.... I like that Porsche is conservative with their numbers... kind of a sleeper mindset...

Desmo, I was told by Chelsea that PTS is not available, though they are "trying".
I ticked enough boxes on the configurator to get north of $210K. The configurator goes from $175K - $210K faster than the car goes 0-60.

I don't understand Porsche whatsoever.
If it's limited why wouldn't they say on day one and number the car.
It's sort of interesting how Porsche said guru's here contradict one another and others pound an owner.
Another note - how's that 960.
