Damn it. You win again for the most 918 associated stuff.

I did, paid and extra 4k to customized it on top of the 8k for the car. But I was told the model can't be build as a Weissach car for some reason. Still waiting for it to show up.

EPIC colors spec, similar to one of my own finalists. I would like to do the garnet red interior with silver piping. I already have p-cars with mocca and black interior and I very much love my red interior on my C4S.

For exterior looking at either dark blue or oryx white exterior. Possibly a silver but am not that excited by that. Sample below - also doing the interior carbon dash but the 3D configurator does not seem to render this online.

Related: any thoughts on 'authentic' leather? When I did the test drive one of the cars had mocca authentic interior but I did not pay too much attention to the difference in the leather ..

Your dealer has a 918 sample suitcase, go do a blind feel test on the 2 leather sample. This is one option that's completely personally subjective. I did that and my skin prefer the normal leather.

It's the 1/8 one in the Porsche Driver's Selection Catalog. For 8k you get the basic 918 painted in liquid metal. Give them and extra 4k and they will customized it to match your real car and put the same serial number on it.

Officially, the count is up to 20 cars within this community. There are a few more members that have ordered cars but is too shy to share the news yet.

I did order one, was also one of the last couple to get in. I don't however have a car number yet, so I will have to reach out to David D for that. My car is

Paint to Sample exterior, interior black with stitching and piping to sample. Very limited stitching other than sun visors and steering wheel. Mine is a Weissach, but has standard wheels in black and rear wing painted. All badges deleted, home link, front lift, gas struts for the hood added back on, all leather interior and steering wheel, calipers in silver....

Not sure what else I have missed!

Congrats to getting an allocation.

An interesting picture has emerged for last of the allocations. You are the 6th person that I know of that was told that you are buying one of the last couple slots. By definition couple means 2, so 6 people can't really share 2 spots. I believe PNCA use that to boost sales to fence sitters.

Anyway, you have plenty of time to fill in the blanks on your spec.

Right now I just want a count of 918s, I am at well over 20 cars just within this community, if I include non-members and celebrity cars, I am at over 40 cars.
