it's amazing how big the 991 looks next to the CGT.

Nice... cat

Slightly coincidentially I was out on a reasonably long drive over the weekend as well.... and I do have a question if someone would know off hand (left the manual in the car at Reading). Is there any way to recline the seats as currently the seats are great for a short drive or on track but on a longer road trip the seating position is a bit too upright..

Nice pic.

There's no maual adjustment - they're in a fixed position and you'd have to modify the bracket to change the angle afaik. Ask Andy, i'm sure he'll know.

No they can't be reclined. I even asked at Reading if it was possible to fit the reclining buckets from the newer Gt3 and they said no.

IMO the upright position is necessary - keeps you alert, a requisite when driving the CGT! I also like how it keeps your legs straight when using the clutch - gives you a greater deal of control than if your legs were at an angle - helps me feel far more in control.

Went on my first proper road trip last week too.

Couple of my favourite photos at the top of the Stelvio Pass.

The two guys in the 500s just killed me, no more than 30BHP each, i take my hat off to them

Hi Albert

Question for you, was your car owned by Paul H from the west of the UK, a US car he bought from Champion New York in 2006?

Cheers

If its Mr Paul H from Gloustershire, then yes.

Started of in Champion Porsche Florida, then Rosyln Heights NY, then over to Mr Paul H (where Porsche Reading looked after it), then into the Gerard Lopez Collection (where Porsche Stuttgart looked after it)

Finally with me last year and back with Porsche Reading.

Thanks I thought so. I went with Paul H to Champion Long Island where he bought the car end of 2008, it was an immaculate example. I bought mine at the same time which I still have. Just returned from a trip to Mugello, they are fantastic cars.

Cheers
