Default Your favorite color for the 918 (non WS edition)?

Thinking about putting down the 200k but can't decide on a color.

I love the liquid metal but it's a 64k option. Of the non-custom paint colors/packages, which are your favorites? Thinking white will stand up over time but partial to that dark blue...

Guards red or yellow here but the car is sooooo beautiful that it won't matter. Good luck.

If you like blue, go for it. Choose the color you like not what you think the second owner will like.

I happen to think Black, that Blue (we always see), Silver and Yellow are all outstanding colors in the standard car.

Enjoy your choice!!!!!!!!

Wouldn't resell it...it's more an issue of finding the "perfect" color if it exists. Of course it's to personal taste but I raise the question to see if there were those who had opinions borne of their own personal experience. For instance, I had a black 991 S which looked amazing but was so difficult to keep clean even a day after a a detail that I really hesitate in getting a car in that color again.

If you are allergic to dirt showing on a car, pick any of the silver/grey hue. Dirt disappears on those as they are about the same colour.

Rhodium Silver is a great colour too, doesn't hide dirt as well as the meteor grey or liquid metal, but it really shines. I have seen one in person at the factory.

What colors were your previous cars and what do you think about them?

Rhodium with red interior would be nice.
But I hate those acid green calipers! Is it possible to order black, red or yellow ones?

Would go with a PTS color. Like the wild colors like birch green. From time to time it would be fun to put a wrap on it - like the martini racing or another iconic Porsche racing scheme.

PTS is the way to go with a custom Porsche order...especially on a 918 Spyder! According to Melissa Witek, PAG has already approved 'Acid Green' for a 918 customer, along with other interesting hues in 'Orange'! The approved PTS list I have (see below) just lists colors for the 991, 981 & Panamera. But someone like Melissa at PCNA could explain to you the other Paint-to-Sample color possibilities for a 918, which might include many of the colors you see in the 991/981 list! My recommendation is that you contact 'Porsche Exclusive' directly on this subject! PTS in a 918 is a low to mid $20K's option.

Saludos,
Eduardo
Carmel

PS Attached photo is of PTS 'Lichtgrün' - 'Birch Green' - on a 991 cabriolet that I photographed at Zuffenhausen last year.
