Default 2004 vs 2005 CGT / Clutch Valves

Understand there were less 05's than 04's that left the factory but I am 99.9% positive that there is zero difference between the two years.

Also the clutch reading - unless there is spinning / glazing of the clutch lasting 35,000 miles is within reach.

CGT's outside the US have 20 - 50,000 miles vs in the US where they are feather dusted yet the pricing is the similar and perhaps even higher.

Having heard many CGT' left the US due to other markets willing to pay more - with crashes and exports I assume 400 remain in the US.

I can't figure out why there are so many low mileage CGT's - funny Porsche guys are always poking fun at Ferrari guys about not driving their F car when a rain cloud is within 10 miles.

So what's holding back the CGT in the US.

I have an early car. Seems like a steady rocketship to me so I dont understand why people argue whats worth more. Should be the same. At some point that will go away. I believe most CGT's were 05 builds and some into 06 actually. Maybe I am wrong.

If there are other 04 owners out there, does your rear glass have a blue tint? I dont believe the 05 cars have this. Thats the only difference I see.

Interesting - was told they were all built on 04 but some shipped out in 05.

Collectors prefer 05 because there are less - same reasoning applies for less produced colors.

Feel free to post a pic of the blue tint.

Being new here - perhaps a picture / odometer thread.
