F40 vs. CGT production numbers are very similar. They will likely eventually be within close range of one another price wise. The Ferrari badge makes a difference although that might be fading as a younger generation of collectors enter the picture.

The commentary about driving experience that favors the CGT is largely echoed by most who have driven both cars, although it's not really a fair comparison as the CGT has 15 years newer technology in terms of things like brakes, chassis, & suspension design which don't tend to age well on older cars.

The Carrera GT is actually better compared with an F50 in terms of driving experience because they are both N/A manual open-roof supercars with carbon chassis.

I don't understand the idea of "collecting" I collect models and plush bears. a car is to be driven and driven hard...

How easy it is to get an original US car that has been exported during its life, back to the US ?

We will have these cars back in next 10-14 days. We’ve done it a lot, so it’s not too bad, but the customs people make a big difference to work with the right guys. If you need help, call me. Happy to help. We just got this 964 RS NGT in which is cool, and came from Europe. Paid, and had it to me in 10 days. Not always that quick, but got lucky here.

If anyone has a high mile CGT in silver, but you want it to become a one of one, call me too. I’ll fill you in on a little GRP secret 😜
The black one sounds interesting like a sister car to mine. What mileage does it have? I bought my car in 2006 from the US and had Porsche GB paint it Basalt Black now @ 48k miles.

and I don't think the car will ever pass 200 miles sadly
if I had more $, I would take it and bring it to 20k miles and make her happy
