I wouldn't be surprised to see the CGT follow the F1's price trajectory. They are that special. I don't know anyone that doesn't want one. There are going to be a lot of people regretting not buying one.

I think the demand and specialness are there. Supply is just orders of magnitude more than F1 however. I love em but all things being equal they made quite a few.

That being said, in this little run up, I still wouldn't sell mine if they double from here.

I dont think it goes to 15-20mm, but tbh, I could see it going over 3-4mm at some point for a car thats perfect and low miles with a driver being 1.6-2...there really isnt anything that compares to the CGT until you start looking at things like the F1, which are orders of magnitude more and even those who own both have often said the CGT is 80 plus percent as much fun to drive than the F1.

As a driver, not a collector, I'm glad they will likely stay "affordable" relative to anything remotely close to its unique drive experience. While it sounds cool to have your GT worth 10m, it's no longer drivable at that point. I'd rather make money in other ways and own a GT that has some modest appreciation to offset the maintenance and insurance. That is win win to me.

I drove my first CGT a ton so when I got the 800 mile black one I've now, I could just hold it for a while and eventually sell it for a driver plus profit...so Ill have a driver again at some point 😂. Nothing drives like a CGT!

I'm sure some of the claims around # CGT being totaled are over done. Do any of the CGT stat gurus have any clue how many have been totaled?

I will take the first stab at this one. When I owned my CGT 10 years ago it was a little scary. I think the current tire technology probably helps a lot. I would guess 150-200 gone.

640 were supposedly delivered to US and est. 70 - 80 were totaled and another chunk exported.
My guess is mid 400's remain in US.
Agree with others that nothing compares to the CGT and expect a 2 - 3m number good example.
Fact is owners who took their car back to Porsche for a refresh are in them at 2 - 3m.

Depends on the owners desires - believe it starts above 7 figures.
