Thanks!
Getting the hang of the clutch.
Comparing it to my 599GTO, the CGT is much more "mechanical". The engine, and tranny sounds are about equal to the exhaust howl. The GTO Is mostly exhaust.
CGT more involving because of the manual shifting. I would need a lot more practice before taking it on the track.
CGT is also very comfortable and cocoon like. GTO is more a regular sports car feel. Much taller than the CGT.

My battery totally died after I bought my CGT and so I had a new one put in (in fact, if you ever get your battery really low by accident, it apparently never fully recovers). When I got the car back, I noticed that the clutch seemed easier to use. So I asked the dealer if they done anything with it -- and he was quite surprised and responded in the negative. So I chalked it up to more experience perhaps? Still it seemed quite a bit easier. Then the dealer came back (unfortunately by text which I no longer have, otherwise I would just quote him directly) with an "aha" moment that (and I am paraphrasing now as best as I can remember) because the battery died, something like the memory that the clutch had acquired from its previous owner had been erased. So it was starting from a de nouveau situation now which I found noticeably easier. I can ask him about it more again since this was a few months ago...
I will ask about this 'learning' thing here at Reading Porsche.
Thanks

Not happy about the recent events around the CGT but I know I tend to drive conservatively. I do plan on taking it to the track, as I did the GTO. I hope it doesn't bite me :/

As well as fitting Michelin Super Sports, please consider moving the the rear anti-roll bar drop-link attachment hole from the middle "medium" position to the tip "soft" position. Your track experience will be much better
