Nice Guy? Yeah, the man was a con artist, read the comments at the bottom of the tribute:

http://www.carzi.com/2010/06/27/vral...enge-accident/

Here's his infamous 200mph run at night on a 2-lane interstate w/traffic:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1KpEQv1rN_Q

There's another couple videos on the tribute site of him hooning the GT through the crowded streets of Beverly Hills. A guy in a Lambo orange GT was filming him...is this kind of driving OK in Carrera GT circles? My wife and daughter drive these same roads daily. The way he drove shows he had no regard for human life. Karma's a b*tch.

Alex, you will be missed.

I will say he did pass on doing what he loved doing which I guess is a good way to go. It's just his constant poor decisions made for public viewing...that was an issue. Movin' on.

Default so many exotics & so little time

an entertaining thread...

http://www.carzi.com/2010/06/27/vral...enge-accident/

i'll agree w/ going out doing what one loves... sure hope (for him) his soul was 'right' before he took that last breath.

this was an old vid that was not a good thing for his rep (or for p-cars on the westside). foolish.
http://www.streetfire.net/video/vral...ever_92303.htm

too bad vralexander never shot anything w/ real production value having been behind the wheel of so many amazing machines.

fwiw i think the guy did live in 'virtual reality'

After seeing that second video (just above in post 6) it is clear that he routinely endangered the public for his own entertainment and only served to give the rest of the Porsche community a bad name.

RIP to him and condolences to his family.

With that said. If what people are saying is true(the con artist life style) it is a very sad life to lead.

BUT how in the hell does someone con so many people and live. Some of the comments is that he was in hiding ( how can he be in hiding if his videos are all over the net?)

Hell a simple google search would have found him( or the next car event, show, race etc....)

Why wasn't this guy in jail?

The stories are amazing. Some believable....some unbelievable....

A lot more to the stories I presume.

So sad.....
