I think that 'snow' is foam used to extinguish the fire.

Those Enzo's are dangerous! They should have a speed limiter at 65mph.

Does the tire have any tread on it? I can't see any???

US government regulations only require that cars be tested at 30 or 35mph frontal and side impacts. Who knows how the chassis will behave at high speeds into a tree, there's a definite margin of unpredictability there.

Also, from the article I read, the driver is critical because of burns to 70% of his body, I don't believe it was because of impact injuries.

Enzo's use a carbon fibre tub no? It's the same technology as F1 cars, I'd think they're probably pretty strong in case of an accident.

this is rediculous i feel like these cars are made sepreatly fornt and rear and stapled together right before paint. seriously i have seen no carrera gts or mclaren f1's split in half and there are full carbon cars as well,

dont get me wrong i love carbon fiber but metal doesn't splinter and brake apart like that, doesnt seeem like a pratical application when saftey is an issue
