Hard to tell, but given the sidewall damage, curious if it was the tire that caused the shunt?

I'm french and they talked a bit about the accident on the news report and said it was raining when the russian was driving fast and slaloming between the cars. He lost control of his car and hurt a tree or something like that. His girlfriend had only a few problems but he was burnt at 70%.

dont get me wrong i love carbon fiber but metal doesn't splinter and brake apart like that, doesnt seeem like a pratical application when saftey is an issue
It's possible that the splintering and breaking apart helps dissipate some of the forces of the impact. Remember, it's not the condition of the car that matters after an accident, it's the condition of the young model in the passenger seat

i though you were kidding greg, but i just read that it was a 31 year old model in the car w/ him at them time of the accident. (see pics)
also that apparently he had just purchased the car like the day b/f!
couldn't find much about his condition except one report that said he was in stable condition . . . but improving!?
she only received minor hand and thigh burns.
wreck a million dollar car the day after buying it?
i could see where she would be a distraction . . . . but . . . . crash an enzo!?
leave her at home!

I don't know about that jeff, if I had an Enzo with a girl like that in the passenger seat, I might be tempted to go for the trifecta... Driving a Ferrari, eating a ham sandwhich, and... if you're a Seinfeld fan, you know the rest

Default More from the Ferrari boys...

Driver is ok, just embarrassed from crashing outside the busiest pub in Perth.

Even without crashing, she'd have thigh burns if any of us were with her! (hopefully hand as well)
