Despite the obvious opulence, do you still walk out into the garage every day and go 'holy jesus, thats mine?"
I do, albeit on a much smaller scale.

All I wanted to do was take the SLR 'Around the Block' since I have driven her only twice from the day I got her, January 11th. ![crying](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/bigcry.gif)
After backing her out of the garage, I realized I wasn't going anywhere. There was 12-15 inches of snow on the ground
and the drive still had some snow and ice spots which would have never allowed me to leave the property.
So I got out the Sony digital camera and took some pics of the car and her 'new' license plate. I got the idea from a 1953 Marlon Brando movie, "The Wild One". It was about a motorcycle gang terrorizing a small town over a few days. I think it fits the cars personality. Think so?
Hope you like the 'fun in the snow' pics. Magwheel

Sweet - thanks for sharing! When the weather gets nice this spring you need to get them all cleaned up and take a new group photo. As a big Mercedes fan, I think your collection is looking very well balanced now, but I must say (as a 997 owner) you are still missing a 997 for a daily sports car driver. I know you had one, but they are too fun not to keep around.

Love the SLR, it's a definite future collector's item. I notice you got a S550, how do you like that? I like the big wheel arches but I'm leaning more towards a CLS63 AMG. Why did you pick the S550?

Excellent picures/post! By the way, I'm reading this thread today (March 5) for the first time in a while (I've been tracking it since it started)... I find it quite ironic that I just bought and watched "The Wild One" yesterday (March 4)! I never saw the movie before and bought it while food shopping- they had it on a DVD rack. With a 6 month old home, I only watch maybe 2 hours of TV a week, which makes this some sort of a sign for me...I have to go get a lottery ticket or something as this could be a sign from above

I've driven my buddy's SLR and would like to know what you thought about its driveability compared to the CGT (minus the clutch of course). I had a problem with the tires spinning on the SLR and it did not handle as well as I thought it would. Great collection though!!!! So I must now ask. What's next?
