Hi!

Why won't your friend walk to the next Porsche dealer?

Anyway: can you show some pics of that car (with or without the damage), specially the number above the gear ****?

It's number 0488. The Porsche dealer in DK is making things more difficult than neccesary. And it was crashed in the US -I thought he did it, but he bought the "wreck" for $285K. He need left headlamp - the panel behind the left front wheel, rearpanel right and left front rim....

Wow! It looks like he is going to pay much more than he could of bought a new car here in the states.

Live and learn I guess, he might be able to part out the car and get a good percentage of his money back but fixing the car is going to be a losing proposition. I would of payed maybe 150K for the car and parted it out and kept the engine for some interesting project.

Wish him good luck!

I would check with salvage companies here and in Eurpoe. I also would talk directly with Porsche. Certainly they can direct your friend to other resources.

This may sound weird but call Gemballa. A couple weeks ago Gemballa USA had some odd CGT parts for sale on....of all places...Ebay. They had a ful front fender clips, rear tailight, rear exhaust outlet panel, radiaor support, etc. If they had all that there's a chance they might have other parts available and even though it was Gemballa USA that had the listings I'm sure they'd ship worldwide considering the vehcile in question.

Just a thought for you....hope it all works out for your friend. Too beautiful of a car to sit in pieces for long...
