exhaust note
what are the best exhaust notes of production street cars?
from all the vehicles i have heard (stock w/o exhaust mod) nothing comes close to the cgt!
if i were a movie maker and needed the sound of a high performance car on the sound track i would pick the cgt.
what are some other cars with outstanding stock sound?
the kind you would just as soon turn the stereo off and listen to the car.
my 996gt3 was ok!
the 997 cab i have now is pretty boring as far as sound - not to mention hp

Testarossa with TUBI,
GT3 with Kreis-sieg
997S with PSI headers/mufflers
69 Z28 with factory "chambered" exhuast
CGT @ 7000 + RPM's
928GT with headers and free flowing exhaust

The CGT not is amazing. Makes me think of what it would be like if sworm of deamons were released from hell.
I think all of the V8 Ferrari's from the 355 up sound amazing stock.

Well then,
My 69 Z-28 with factory "chambered exhaust" still holds true then
(I had one, so I must be an expert)
and I must say I love the sound of AMG V-8's !!! even at an idle
those sound terrific!

Unfortunately for the driver's ears, as rpm increases, engine sound overwhelms part or all of the exhaust sound. As a result, love of engine sound should be first priority.

Best exhaust notes:
1. F355 (Tubi is fab but even stock sounds gorgeous)
2= Carrera GT
2=. Ferrari F50 with Tubi (this is just mind blowing)
4. Lamborghini V12
5. Ferrari 365/512BB (non injection 512)

But i still love the Carrera GT.
