had to share this...saw back to back episodes on speedvision last night and i believe they will be on again; show is titled ultimate cars and featured a list of top 5 supercars and top 5 racers. supercars included carrera gt, f-40, mclaren f-1 (wow), lamborghini miura. racers included ford gt-40, shelby daytona coupe and best of all the porsche 917 that won lemans.

I saw that as well, although I saw it on a science channel.

Of the 5 supercars, don't forget the 300SL Gullwing from Mercedes at #3.

I thought it rather interesting that of the current top tier of "hypercars" (including the Enzo, C-GT, SLR, Zonda) only the C-GT made the cut of top 5 of all time. It's also interesting that the mighty McLaren F1 is still the king in most people's eyes, and that the F40 can still out-accelerate almost every single production car, at least to 60mph. That thing is LIGHT.

sorry; you're right it was the sci channel. i drew a blank on #3, the gullwing is a beautiful car. luckily, i tivo'd it so i can keep track of what i need to buy when i win the lottery.

i believe it is on the science channel several more times over the next few days. my other find has been a show called fifth gear (which i believe is on speedvision). great program.
