Default Awsome post delivery follow up on CGT

I gotta tell you all that the factory follow up on the delivery of my Carrera GT is awsome. Just got off the phone with PCNA who are sending two factory reps to check out my car now that I've got 150+/- miles on my car. the factory are truly interested in making sure that they follow the early cars given that they represent the first cars from a new factory with a totally new manufacturing process. I'm feeling very well taken care of! I suspect that the later production cars will ultimately have some sort of grill behind the front wheel well openings to prevent stone chips. My car is at the dealer now awaiting the custom install of some 3M film in all the sensitive spots. Other than that the freakin' thing is just AWESOME.

Les Quam, you GOTTA get one buddy! Forget the stats and the comparo's, it is AMAZING when you hear and drive that thing!!!!

Labcars,
Are you sure the two so called "reps" are not thugs paid to insure your silence about their 446,000 boxster? Just kidding, I can't wait to see and drive a production version.

Just out of curiosity, since I am buying an 04 GT 2 for 200 out the door. Do I get one factory rep to come and rub my tummy? 200 being half of 400?

Gee, Les, I didn't know you liked your tummy rubbed. You should have told me sooner!! I'll see if I can arrange an uber-massage for you when you take delivery of your GT2. I'm sure Helmut will be able to help relieve your stress related to color selection on the GT2!

I'm sending you a PM, so check your mail. Talk to you soon,
Les

'04 CGT
'65 356SC cab
'94 Turbo S Flatnose
'97 Turbo S
'03 Turbo X50
'96 C4 Cab (just added for kicks)

You're missing a 944 turbo in that collection. You'd be surprised how fun the car is, especially modded.

I wonder if I change my name to "Les", that I will somehow increase my chances of driving a top-of-the-line Porsche someday?

Btw, Labcars, are you planning on showing up at Hershey this weekend?

Why is it that all of you guys that have GT's never post pics of your cars..? You have a 400,000 plus $ car. but no 200$ camera to take and post pics..?
I would like to see some pics of these cars in your driveways...

PR shots are one thing, but IMHO, personal shots of cars can look a lot more inspiring and appealing, especially when the proper backdrop is chosen!
