WTB: Clean CGT.... time to join the club.
What’s up guys!
2020 is the year. I’ve been toying with the idea of buying one for a couple years but never pulled the trigger. But after being corrupted by a friend of mine on this forum, it’s time to hop in the drivers seat. If you know of any private party cars please DM me.
Here’s what I’m looking for.
1. Mileage- 2000-10000
2. Absolutely no paint work or accidents.
3. Open to Silver, seal Grey or Black or any neutral colors. Not interested in Red or yellow.
4. Interior must be Dark grey
5. Complete service history and original sticker/ luggage set.
Thanks!

Tail of the dragon and racing on east coast tracks where they have grass instead of gravel sounds really fun!
Update: I’ve been offered a few cars, but have not gone forward with any cars yet. As I dig deeper into this market I’m learning a lot about why there is such a large range in prices. Still looking for that perfect one.
Also, I really appreciate you rennlisters as I’ve received many referrals for available cars.

not many complete cars out there.
by now, a car should have had 2-3 engine out services
a lot of cars seem to have lost their luggage
strap for roof panels
bags for roof panels
normally I don't care about accessories missing. but EVERYTHING in this car cost are and legs.
the car cover is close to $2k
the roof panel cover is $1500
the wheels is 10k each
head light is 10k each
so make sure u get EVERYTHING. and 90% of the cars I have seen do not have them all.
the 10% that does are all $800+ plus many approaching 900

Almost 8k miles - engine clutch are in good shape and original - I think these engine out services are way over stated and if taken care of the clutch and engine should go 25 - 30,000 miles.
All luggage should also include two seat extenders
Trinkets - scale engine / Swarovski crystal / Silver book not pictured
When I was looking with others 3's approaching 4's - you can see where this is headed waiting = expensive.
CGT's can always be repaired and the items that go along can always be bought over time. Go get one!
I got lucky one owner had everything but looking back that wait cost me more than it saved me.

I tend to agree that we sometimes forget these things are cars; the joy of owning a cgt is driving it. Get one that is mechanically and cosmetically sound. Drive it. Enjoy it. It will make u smile. While I have one with all/most of its tidbits, I gotta admit, they are more of just PITA junk I have to store. I get -10% of the enjoyment from all the tidbits (I’m trying to find a place in a small manhattan apartment to stash them because I’m paranoid to leave them in the car or anywhere for that matter; and I’ll NEVER EVER use any of them........EVER!) and 110% of the enjoyment just driving the thing. I have all the junk that goes along with the car because I’m supposed to own it, NOT because I wanna actually own it . I’m guessing the reason why so many are missing the junk is that back when this car was produced, people just drove cars; they weren’t all OC, sitting in front of a screen on forums finding out what cars they should like and how they should like them. They looked at the crap that came with the car and chucked it! That being said, I’m cramming all my junk and spares into some corner of my apartment as we speak .
Get a reasonably priced one that drives and looks good: maintain it (open your wallet), drive it and smile!
