I won a Carrera GT....
Actually, I won two of them!! Both Silver!
Just got back from the Carrera GT viewing at McKenna Porsche. It is basalt black, with black interior... I really would have liked to see it in another color other than black so I can see more of its lines..
A beauty it is! Got to have a close look at the engine compartment, interior etc. Lots of hand-laid carbon fiber. Many tell-tales signs of a hand-built car.
The best part was they started is up twice throughout the night. It needs RSR's.. Too quiet at idle, mostly because of the turbo's dampening exhaust notes. Could barely hear it idling.... They revved it up good several times. I got a glance on the tach at over 7k rpm's a few blips. Really sounded like a quiet Champ car, especially the way it revved so freely and effortlessly.
All I can say is WOW... Sticker, including dealer mark-up was $700K
Its rated for 10/16 mpg, according to the window sticker..
I will post pics as I get them emailed to me from a few local PCA buddies. I CANT BELIEVE I FORGOT MY CAMERA....
