Default CGT interior leather colour?

Hello,

Which interior color suits best Basalt Black Metallic exterior?

I'm trying to choose between Ascot Brown or Dark Gray.

Mike

Between those two Ascot 100%...dark grey is a terrible color on the CGT and not sure why but in my view cheapens the interior massively.

For me the best combo for a black car is full terracotta...or black, you can never go wrong with a black/black car!

Black on black was my first choice, but that's like my Boxster.
Have not seen Terracota or gray in person, but Ascot looks a bit more natural.
Local dealer currently has a display CGT in silver with black interior. Definitely looks sexy.

The black interior is called dark gray (not sure why).

Black interior IMO will age better and more in line with the design.

To each his own the luggage in terra-cotta ... no thanks.

The Ascot interiors are far and away the classiest of the bunch. Suits the car perfect. Black/ascot is rare, and the best of the combos. Followed by black black, then I like GT Silver/ascot.

Red/yellow cars look plastic and cheap to me.

I'm almost certain there is black and there is dark grey...I was about to buy a black car with dark grey before buying my black/black CGT. The difference was quite noticeable!

The interior of my cgt is called 'dark grey'. without a doubt, it is the color black.

I've yet to see a cgt with interior that looks dark grey.

I had Ascot on my first CGT, now gray(black), which I much prefer.

If it looks black, Porsche called it Dark Grey.
Porsche never sold a standard interior called Black in the CGT. Don't know about Leather-to-Sample.
My PTS Signal Yellow CGT (#0911) CGT had Dark Grey interior and everyone including me regards it as "black" because that's how it looks.

I can appreciate almost any exterior color on a car except maybe browns (ok, I could do brown on a LH). Interior is black on any Porsche I've ever owned and I'll walk from any other color interior no matter how much I like the car. Esp with all the CF on that car, black is it for me. It looks too patch-work in the other interior colors. I wouldn't be scared to throw in some yellow belts or stitching for color. But either brown with all that contrasting black inside; and yellow calipers outside; no thanks. However if I had to go brown on a Cgt, I'd go black interior and basalt over black. It's a borderline warm black.
