I just got into this a little bit with trying to get models of the Porsche's I've had. I ended up buying several different brands and have an opinion on them. These are all 1:18
AutoArt - probably the best all around of what I've seen. Great detail and materials.
MiniChamps - close 2nd - some models have more features (doors, trunk, hood, that open) than others - not sure why though
NoRev - good models - no opening parts
BBurago - can be very inexpensive and has as many features as MiniChamps
Hot Wheels - not bad and very inexpensive - good for children
Maisto - crappy - I'd avoid

^^^ very expensive now but one of the best for detail is probably Exoto. GT spirit makes great looking models but they don't have any features.

Pink Pig livery
I just got one of each, the 917 and the 911RSR. I also bought the matching Gulf Wyer livery 917 and 911RSR. Also through Suncoast.
I always look forward to their Sunday morning email. Be forewarned! Their free email is very addictive and very expensive in the long run. LOL!

Still looking for a 1:18 scale 991 Coupe. I'd like to find one I don't have to dismantle to customize to look like mine. But, I will if I have to. Did that to a UT Models 993 Targa. The model was red. I painted in in OE white. But, it wasn't especially easy.

Three Wheelin'
Love the setup, did you build that or is that a wall shelf system? I want to do something similar but for bigger sizes and less cars for my apartment.
Ok wait, is this a salesguy from Main Line? Looks like the same collection from one of the offices I saw when I was there last.

Burning Brakes
This probably cross posts a little away from Porsche exclusively but I am pretty proud of it so thought I would post. My two automotive loves are Porsche and Cobra. I built a Cobra kit car. Ended up changing the side pipes out and had an extra set in the basement. Turned it into a shelf for my die cast collection. Mostly 911s but some other stuff as well. Fun project!

I also love collection cars, but my children don't, unfortunately. They want something to play with and they wanted RC cars. To please them both, I needed to buy two cars, but I didn't have a lot of money so I started to search for best rc cars under 200. I read all the articles and in a few hours, I bought two cars. Now I am very happy that my children are happy and careful with their cars like I am with my collection cars.

Still looking for a 1/18 991.1 Coupe to match my real 991.1 as in my Avatar.
Doesn't need to be white with beige interior, but would prefer that. Real one has the glass sunroof, but not necessary in model as that is easy to paint black.
Anyone know what company may have made a 991 coupe?
