Default 2017 Porsche Macan Purchase

Hi guys,
I'm new to the forum. I'm about to pull the trigger on new 2017 Porsche Macan Base with the following specs:
Macan 47,500.00
2H Volcano Grey Metallic 690.00
2ZH Steering Wheel Heating 250.00
3S5 Roof Rails in Black 380.00
7UG Navigation Module for Porsche Communication Management (PCM) 1,730.00
7Y7 Lane Change Assist (LCA) 690.00
9JB Smoking Package 0.00
CY3 20" RS Spyder Design Wheels 3,300.00
PJ7 Premium Package Plus 5,950.00
QJ4 Window Trim in Black (High-Gloss) 230.00
VC Standard Interior in Black 0.00
Total Options 13,220.00
Total Charges 1,050.00
Total Order 61,770.00

So I was thinking of offering $55K as my highest offer. Is my offer reasonable or can I even go slightly lower (realistically) ? It's my first time buying a luxury car so your insights would be much appreciated.
Thank you.

I would suggest you go to a few dealers and act un-interested.
See what they suggest for you. I bet they have a low optioned car that will fit your bill.
Ordering a base, with a pile of options, is a custom order, to you spec. They will have little reason to "deal" on an incoming order.
Their pressure is what they have in inventory. Make them sweat it out there.

That's a whole lot of options for a base macan. Just for comparison, my macan s after destination was 62915 in the USA. I got the premium package plus and a handful of other small things. The Navi sucks on porsches. Why the 20 in wheels for $4k? Extra? You could keep the originals and buy another set of 20s for that money. My 0.02

Edit, Oh yea, and u want 10% off? What's your plan?

I recently had a Porsche salesman tell me his dealership prefers selling "sold order" cars, and I have always received good deals on ordered cars.

As to large optional wheels, they are obscenely expensive, and they represent at least half of the discount you seek. There is a school of thought that the standard suspension is "tuned" to the base size wheels. Plus unsprung weight issues.

The nav is another three percent and inferior to your phone. Mike

I'm hoping the trend towards thin tires reverses soon, myself. I'd pay extra for 18's if I had to.

11% discount would be a record. I'm not much of a haggler, so I'll give no advice. Without trying very hard, I got 5% on an ordered car. A four-cylinder, loaded up fairly well - I don't need it to be a muscle car or sports car, but I understand how others might - making no judgment here.

We bought our 2015 Macan Turbo in Sept 2016 (sat on the lot for 16 months) we got 18.5K off a sticker price of 88.5K.

Thank you all for your insights.
I finally pulled the trigger on the purchase.
I ended up with purchasing a Macan with the initially stated list with the exception of the 20" RS Spyder wheels. Instead I got 18" Macan S wheels.
2017 Macan AWD
Volcano Gray, Heated Steering, Nav, Premium Package Plus, LCA (Lane Change Assist), 18" Macan S wheels. MSRP was $58,470. I got it for $54,000 even before TTL. Out the door, $58,333.
Financed via Bank of America at 2.34% for 60 months. I looks like a little over 7% off MSRP.
I think I got a decent discount and all over the phone. Came to dealership, signed the paper and picked up the car. And I love it!

congrats! should've asked you this earlier, but you made the purchase so fast... why not the Macan S? its about $ 6k more. u get 19" wheels, a few nicer trim pieces, bigger front brakes, and I think a few other small upgrades here and there. Your pricing brought you into macan s territory

LOUISSSSS, you are absolutely right!
It was my first time porsche buy and I was mostly focused on staying below 60K price tag with OTD price. However after reading the macan forums and doing some math I realized that I could have afforded up to 10K increase (total of $68K). So that started giving me ideas and now I'm actually looking for low mileage 17' GTS models . I figured if I could afford it then I'd rather go for GTS instead of the S (no disrespect for S owners).
I still love my base macan especially after having driven only accords and camrys. But I can image the grin on my face sitting behind a wheel on GTS

FWIW, I just download my frequented areas as offline maps in Google Maps which remain and automatically update in the background periodically. When I travel to a new place that has questionable mobile service, I download those areas ahead of time. Also great for outdoor activities like hiking in remote areas

That is over 10% off. Unless it is used I don't think so. As others have stated, 6% is the best.

If you want to save money, order one. Get 6% off and stay off the option list. You can still build a nice Macan.
