Nice spec.. sounds like you have everything you need. US pricing is way cheaper than UK .The 18 way seats are really great. We had delivery of our turbo last Saturday.. driving impression to follow when I have had some more time behind the wheel. 20" RS wheels are my favourite too.

Looks wonderful. About the only thing you "missed" was PTV, which I don't think is that important, especially given that you also have the 991.

Ordered Voice Control and Cargo Mgt. on my Cayenne and rarely use either.
I would put that $ towards performance or visual options.

I will second Ken's PTV+ recommendation. It makes a difference even if you can't feel it and it is not just at the limit.

I agree with vitaman on the voice control. It's a useless option IMO, but to each his own.

On the other hand I am glad to see someone order the Cargo management package. It is a brilliant idea. On a previous family vehicle, I loved that divider thingie.. Grocery bags, suitcases, everything stays in place.

How do you like "Voice Control"? Is it worth it? Does it work properly?

Thanks!

BTW: Great Build!

I have voice control in a Lexus IS 350. Can't remember more than a half dozen commands out of a possible 100. Not very useful.

I would also do a +1 toward PTV, I do not like voice command, just my own thing and yes, combined with a 911, lots of happy days. Congrats.

Since the OP was talking about a July, 2014 build for a September, 2014 delivery I'm assuming he's had the car for 9 months already? I haven't seen any posts from him about taking delivery, though.

New to the forum and configuring a Macan Turbo. Have been reading a lot of the recent posts. Seems like most people go for the Premium Plus package. Am I being dumb for not really wanting all of the park assist and lane assist gizmos? Any thoughts of the Burmester extra bang for the buck? Opinions on the sport exhaust? Is matte black window trim not available for 2016?

No. Those nanny gizmos are about as unsexy and pointless to a Porsche as it gets, imo. I prefer to rack up all the performance/suspension/aesthetic options that my budget allows for. But that's just me.

I didn't want PP+ because it comes with a sunroof and other things I don't really have high enough on the list to pay for, over the things I do want. Re: Sunroof, I need the extra headroom, as well; like the idea of shaving all that excess weight at the worst possible point along with slight gain in rigidity as a bonus.
