Default High Mileage ROLL CALL!

Interested to hear how many smiles/miles you have put on your Macan, and any repairs!

Congrats!

Looks like I might be pulling the trigger on one of these sooner rather than later. Cayenne just popped an engine light at 195k.

49.5K Macan S with air suspension and PTV. Replaced transfer case about 11K ago but besides that, it's been great. Have driven on some nice stretches of dirt roads, seems solid.

I’ll definitely be keeping mine past 100,000 - baring a catastrophe of some sort. Right now, my 2017 Macan S is sitting at about 72,000 miles. In the last 7 months alone, I’ve put on about 12,000 miles.

I’m due for an oil change and when I bring it in I’ll have them look at everything. I have what sounds/feels like a wheel bearing or bushing wearing out, but Porsche will figure it out. Maybe I’ll get lucky and have a transfer case issue and get a new one under the extended warranty.

beyond that, no issues or major repairs. I couldn’t be happier with my Macan.

For those of you who've had your Macan > 50k miles and who have been using Michelin all-season tires, what have you found for typical safe lifetimes of your tires?

78k here and I do about 20k/year. CPO ends in August. I'm inclined to roll on with it. There's nothing else out there I'm excited about at the moment and used car prices are really high right now.

This thread is a nice counterpoint to the other recent one about bailing out of the Macan before the warranty is up!

I've got <1 year left on my factory warranty, only 25K miles, and no problems to report as of yet. I love hearing that multiple people are getting up into 50+K mi without serious problems.

As a side note, I did ask around to see if anyone would offer me silly money for my Macan (since used car prices are bananas) but for both trade-in and 'sell to dealer' everyone seems to be pricing in a fairly normal depreciation curve.

Which trim y'all pushing those trouble-free miles on?

I'm wondering if there is a pronounced difference in longevity between a base and Turbo, for instance...

2016 Macan S. Just passed 162,000 on my way to Hershey. Think I'm going to make it my daily. Drives like a new car. Better than it's replacement - a 2020 Cayenne base.
