Great to see a car with an H pattern gearbox capable of turning good times. A sequential trans is a big advantage on a forced induction motor. btw, did this motor have some involvement from P.D. in SoCal?

We polished the gears and Copans put in the larger GT3RS gears from the 2002 RS as he felt this was ideal for the torque we were making in the car.
The gearbox is one of the best H Patterns I have ever raced.....
BTW Chris, this is hilarious!!!

I've come to realize that arguing with an idiot on the Internet is like wrestling with a pig in the mud. After awhile you realize the pig enjoys it because he has nothing better to do...

Motor and gearbox both were new before the races listed above....total time on both is approx 8 hours. The entire suspension, brakes, axles, subframes, control arms, uprights and bodywork all only have 8 hours on them....again, this car is very fresh.....all the development on the car has been done......

Not at all, this was/is a thoroughly designed and developed motor that took some time to build, tune and test.....but we were happy to hit 212.5mph at Daytona into turn one as that was a testament to all the hard work put into this car and motor.
Even Jens Walther from PMNA was impressed after I saw him in the garages that weekend and he heard about it.....I was very proud of my guys who built this car as it's not all about HP to get over 200mph but it also takes chassis setup, proper aero, correct gearing and LOT'S OF TORQUE!!! I am sure it would go a lot faster if you put in a Porsche Factory driver!

Or the Texas mile???
Seems this is the bench mark many tuners use to see who can build the best. Imagine this engine allowed to run wild there.
If this car can reach 212mph on half of Daytona having to exit the chicane on the back straight, it would be great to see what it could do in a straight line.
And still only a 3.6L I hear. You have a great combination of car and engine. It takes the whole package to go fast. Well done and it would make someone a great winning club car.

Compression and leak down numbers would be interesting.
I am potentially interested in the car for open road racing (BBORR, Silver State) and the cars top end is adequate for same, but you are sure proud of your development costs. :-)
